Robert Louis Wallen, known to all as Bobby, entered heaven’s gates and met his Savior on Sunday, October 20, 2019. Bobby was born on December 21, 1954 in Wills Point Tx to Billie and Netta Wallen. He was the oldest of seven children. His siblings are Raymond, Steven, Billie, Donna, Ricky, and Jerry.

He married the Love of his Life of 42 years, Sherry, in November 1977. Together Bobby and Sherry loved their five children; Sharon Parmnentier of St. Petersburg, Robert Wallen of Quinlan, Dawn Beadle and husband Brandon of Kaufman, Christina Hughes, Sandra Hickman and husband Randy of Quinlan, 15 grandchildren, and 5 great-grandchildren.

Bobby will and should always be remembered as a God-fearing family man, and his devoted love for his wife. For being a tender and loving daddy, always showing up. The pride he had for each one of his grandkids and great-grandkids. The kind twinkle in his eyes, the happy lines on his face, and the fluffy Santa beard.

A celebration Of Life gathering to honor Bobby is taking place this Sunday, October 27, 2019 @ 2pm at the Tawakoni State Park Amphitheater. Family and friends are encouraged to wear a Harley Davidson in honor of Bobby. There will be a small service followed by a time of come-and-go celebration. Please bring your favorite potluck dish, a lawn chair, and a fishing pole to enjoy food, laughter, and remembrance.

In lieu of flowers consider your entrance fee as a donation to one of Bobby’s favorite places, the state park, or you can also make a donation in his name to the American Heart Association. Below is a link.
