Myers Vittetoe, 85, of Greenville, passed away on December 15, 2020 at his residence. There will be a graveside service at Old Concord Cemetery at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, December 17, 2020 with Rev. Greg Horn officiating.  Visitation will be from 12 noon to 1:30 p.m., Thursday at the funeral home.

Myers was born August 23, 1935 in Josephine, Texas to Alvin Eual and Odessa Myers Vittetoe.  He married Eloise Jeffreys on January 22, 1955 in Seminole, Texas.  He was a farmer and cotton gin owner and also a member of the Texas Cotton Ginners Association.

Myers is survived by his daughter, Maureen Lankford and husband, John; sister, Martha Gray and husband, Don of Forney; grandchildren, Blake Lankford and wife, Jackie, Casey Harrison and husband, Phil, Devon Lankford, Brody Vittetoe and wife, Chelsea, Wrynn Hoskison and husband, Zan; 11 great-grandchildren; 2 nieces and 1 nephew.

He is preceded in death by his parents; wife; son, Jeff Vittetoe; sister, Glynda Lesniak; granddaughter, Stacy Viettetoe and great-granddaughter, Hanna Lankford.

Pallbearers will be Trenton Purcell, Chris Boggs, Ryan Ballard, Nathan Northcutt, Salvador Rosales and Johnny Wiggs.  Honorary pallbearers will be James Horn, Larry Vititow and Robert Stephenson.

We are requesting that you limit the size of the gathering during the viewing due to concerns regarding the current health crisis.  Mask are required at the funeral home.  Please feel free to come and pay your respects but limit your contact with others as per recommended guidelines from the CDC.
