Margaret Lena Sanders, 95, formally of Caddo Mills passed away on December 9, 2020.
Margaret was born on October 22, 1925 in Tintah, Minnesota to Fred and Anna Johnson.
She married the love of her life, Ruel “Sandy” Richard Sanders on November 19, 1943.
Margaret was known to have a heart of gold and always put her family first. She was very creative and had many talents. She was a seamstress and made clothes throughout the years, as well as, had a green thumb and was a great cook. She was always involved in the lives of all the members of her family.
She is survived by her son: Michael Sanders of Cumby; daughters: Patricia Abla of Greenville and Jeanie Mize of Caddo Mills; grandchildren: Scott Abla, Richy Sanders & wife Tatiana, Jason Sanders and fiance’ Maggie Johns, Shelly Edwards and husband Cory, Christina Holt & Husband Allan, Jeff Mize, Jerri, Randy Mize and wife Chissy; 11 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her husband; her parents; brothers: Donald and Laurence; sisters: Myrtle, Vivian, Gladys, Marion, Elva, Beatrice and Anna Mae.
There will be a graveside service on Thursday, December 10, 2020 at 1:00 pm at IOOF Cemetery in Caddo Mills, TX.
Bro. Kenneth Ballard will be presiding over the service.
