Kenneth Leon Finch 67 of Quinlan went to be with his Lord and Savior on October 24, 2019.  Funeral services celebrating Kenneth’s life will be held on Monday, October 28, 2019 at 11:00 am at Grace Baptist Church, formerly Faith Baptist Church, under the direction of Ingram Funeral Home. Brother Larry Combs and Brother Gene Lindsey will officiate, burial will follow at Simmons Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to services.

Kenneth was born July 17, 1952 in Wilson, Oklahoma. He is the son of Ora May Adams Finch and the late Loyd Leon Finch. He was raised and attended schools in many different states before moving to Quinlan in 1967 graduating from Quinlan High School in 1970. He went on to attend Henderson Junior College and later Troy State University. Kenneth married the love of his life Carol Ann Deweese on December 16, 1972 and they made their home in several different places before settling back in Quinlan many years ago. He entered the United States Army in 1971 and honorably served our country before becoming disabled and was discharged in 1984.  He later became a postal carrier in the Dallas area for 14 years, retiring in 2003. Kenneth is a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Wills Point. He was a former deacon at Faith Baptist Church in Quinlan.

Kenneth enjoyed woodworking. He loved to cut wood with his chainsaw and piddle on his tractor around his place. He enjoyed hunting and fishing.

He is loved and will be missed by his loving wife Carol of Quinlan. Mother Ora May Samples of Quinlan. Sons, Kenneth Shane Finch & wife Alycia of Gig Harbor, Washington and Lance Leon Finch & wife Kesha of Ennis, Tx. Grandchildren; Jordan Finch, Alysa Jacob, Aaron Juvik, Isaiah Juvik, Noah Juvik, Brooklyn Finch, Brody Finch, Austin Finch and Gabby Finch. Brothers; Curtis Finch & wife Lily, Tim Finch & wife Clara all of Quinlan. Brother and Sister-In-Law; J.D. and Shanda Deweese of Cash. Several Nieces, Nephews, Cousins, Aunt, and Uncle, and many dear friends.
