Helen Elizabeth Harrington, who was a great wife and mother. The most loving, courageous, talented person I’ve ever known, left this life to join our Lord in heaven of eternal joy at the age of 92, on January 11, 2021.

She was born January 25, 1928 to Naubie Love Williams and Rosa Irene Shaw Williams.

She married the love of her life, Eddie Ray Harrington on August 4, 1944, in Hunt County. They had a beautiful 59-year love affair, loving life to the fullest. she was a great wife and mother. Eddie Ray preceded her in death on October 25,2003. They called Caddo Mills home since 1971, raising three girls in a strong Christian home. They enjoyed attending gospel all night singings in many cities. After being a stay-at-home mom raising the girls, she worked at Henson’s Kickernick, Shirey’s and Caddo Mills ISD, where she retired in 1999, after hours of working she and Eddie Ray did tape and bedding in many homes and businesses in the Hunt County area.

She loved a long happy life gardening, canning, and doing her yardwork, loving to play with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.  She was a Sunday school teacher and Booster Band teacher, and took great pleasure in making quilts and sharing them with each child, grandchild, and great grandchild.

Helen is survived by her daughters Freda (Mike) Vaughan, Theresa (Billy) Krodle Hockett, Carolyn (Dan) English.  Grandchildren: Kurtis (Andrea) Vaughan, Kaden (Dawn) Vaughan, Brandon (Kari) Krodle, Joiy (Jessica) Krodle, Shane Krodle, and Kevin Krodle, Shonda (Wes) Mouser, Justin (Nicole) English.
