David Ray Harmon, 63, of Greenville, passed away on July 14, 2021, in Plano, Texas. Visitation will be 4:00 P.M. to 6:00 P.M., Sunday, July 18, 2021, at Coker-Mathews Funeral Home.  Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M., Monday, July 19, 2021, at Under the Wildwood Venue, 1297 County Road 3318, Greenville, Texas with Rev. Jay Sikes officiating. Burial will be in Memoryland Memorial Park.

David was born August 30, 1957, in Loraine, Texas to Ray Harmon and Peggy Beaty. He married Rita Dabbs on October 5, 1985, in Greenville, Texas. For years, he ran his family-owned car business, Harmon Auto Sales. In 2017, David and Rita built and established, Under the Wildwood in Greenville.

He is survived by his wife, Rita Harmon of Greenville; son, Sawyer Harmon and wife, Morgan; daughters, Sydney Andrews and husband, Brandon and Samantha Harmon; sisters, Penny Crabtree and Pam Siebenhausen; grandchildren, Brayden Harmon, Beckham Harmon, Berklee Harmon, Brenham Harmon and Austyn Andrews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and Mawmaw, Sally Beaty.

Pallbearers will be Sawyer Harmon, Brandon Andrews, Cal Crabtree, James Siebenhausen, Christian Siebenhausen, Scott Smith and David Reid.

Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital, American Heart Association or American Stroke Association.
