Brent Johnson, 52, of Greenville, passed away after a brief battle with cancer on February 6, 2021 at his residence. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Coker-Mathews Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Blair Brent Johnson was born in Perryton, Texas on May 11, 1968 to Curtis Stewart Johnson and Marlene Joyce Wagner. He lived with his parents in Denver, Indianapolis, and Clawson, Michigan until settling in Richardson, Texas in 1974. He spent most of his life in the Dallas area and graduated from Winston School in Dallas, after graduating, he earned his Associates Degree from Richland College. Brent was an excellent salesman in marketing and for 4-5 years he was a licensed pyrotechnician, doing many Dallas area July 4th firework shows. His passion was skydiving and loved woodcarving, especially Indian Relics. He was an exceptionally kind, loving person and very smart, he absolutely loved Trivia.

He is survived by his parents, Curtis Stewart and Marlene Johnson of Greenville; daughter, Carmen Johnson; mother of his daughter, Diana Johnson and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Gregory Mark Johnson.
