Alex J. Znoj, 80, Greenville, March 27, 1939 – July 8, 2019

Alex J. Znoj, passed away peacefully on Monday, July 8, 2019 in Greenville, Texas.  He was 80 years old.

Alex was born in Alameda, California to Stanley and Vonaleen Znoj. He worked as a Systems Engineer for E-Systems (Raytheon) for 23 years.  He was a veteran and served in the Air Force from 1958 to 1980.  Alex received numerous awards and medals for his work as a Chinese linguist in the Air Force.

Alex is preceded in death by his parents, Stanley and Vonaleen Znoj and his brother, Stanley Znoj. Alex is survived by his daughters, Marya Swindell and Karen Znoj.  

He is also survived by his grandson, Connor Swindell.No local services are planned at this time.
